Ellen Wilcox

Ellen has been dancing for as long as she can remember. She grew up in a studio owned and operated by her mother, and had the opportunity to study many styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Lyrical.

After Graduating from College with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Dance, Ellen moved to Austin where she fell in love with ballroom and social dancing.

Besides teaching at Uptown, Ellen teaches ballet at various locations in Austin, San Antonio, and College Station. Her other passions include Yoga, Pilates, swimming, cooking, reading and world traveling.

Ellen teaches Salsa, Swing, Country and specializes in the American Smooth
and International Standard dances.
