Danny Davila

Danny has been dancing all but five years of his life. He knew at an early age that dancing would be his life long profession. He started out with hip hop. Around 1988, Danny was discovered at a C&W club by the owner of the Austin's Arthur Murray. Since then, he has traveled around the world competing in ballroom.

Originally from Austin, TX, Danny moved to Dallas, TX where he taught at several of the main ballroom studios. He has taught at Austin's Arthur Murray, Fred Astaire in San Antonio and Dallas, Ballroom at Preston in Highland Park for ten years, and now is located out of Austin, TX as a dance coach, choreographer, judge, and an independent dance instructor.

Danny showcases, teaches group and private smooth and rhythm ballroom dance lessons independently and several dance studios around Austin. Danny is certified through Arthur Murray & Fred Astaire for Bronze, Silver, & Gold Styles of Dancing in American Ballroom.

Danny can be found donating his time introducing the rewards of ballroom dancing to elementary age children from low income families. He teaches children, couples, single men and women. Danny teaches group lessons and performance teams. Danny performs for local charity functions.
